24/7/Memorial Day>>>Labor Day! White Jeans white skirts white dresses, thumbs up, OK!?! The Question is: Do I dare wear them out of the house? How long can I go without spillage, pillage or sitting on a picnic bench covered with…
Oh.
I’ll take me chances, matey! It’s summer temps here and it just feels right. We’ve been in the 90’s for DAYS now and I (and my sinuses) are diggin’ it. I finished my little red sweater and it feels extra nice when I have to sit in the AC.
I love it!!! Hello summer!
It’s perfect! I love the color!
‘Tis wonderful! I call such tops AC busters!
My aunt claims that the high temps are the “devil, just testing the furnace.”
. . . and on those cold winter nights yet to come, our trashed white jeans will help to remind us of a long, lazy summer with grass stained knees and fresh mango salsa butt when you will be slightly ‘overserved’ at the picnic. All the bleach in the world won’t erase those memories yet to come!
Beautiful!!! As for the white jeans, as long as you have some bleach on hand for the inevitable spills and stains, you’re golden.
CeCe is lovely in Fire Engine Red! Enjoy your warm weather!
Cute! Love the color on you!
It’s New Threads Tuesday for me too! I’m wearing my Mondo Cable Shell and lovin’ it! Great pattern!
Stop flashing that CeCe around! So lovely! The fire engine red color is just gorgeous. I saw another finished one this weekend and had to have the pattern! I’d been trying to resist, but I just couldn’t any longer! I’ll soon be casting on for my CeCe, but in a plum color cotton I already have in my stash! I can’t wait!
Girl, you look fabulous in your CeCe and white jeans!
You look pretty good in red! I’m surprised you don’t knit with it more often, considering.
Is red the new green? Looks beautiful.
Looking great!! Now I’ve gotta get busy on my greenie CeCe – you make me want to knit more!
Cece looks great in red. And so do you.
White pants? Can’t remember if I EVER wore them, so YOU GO GIRL!
Better get to working on my own Cece!
You look great in your new threads, Bonne Marie! I love the red.
I am afraid to wear white pants, ever since the Seventh Grade Strawberry Spillage Incident. I can’t even talk about it, it was so traumatic.
You + CeCe = BEAUTIFUL!
Gawjuss!! Like buttah!!
(I’ve been in Brooklyn recently…can you tell?)
Beautiful job, doll.
Looks like I’m gonna have to put CeCe on my queue, now. A perfect summer confection.
Fabulous! I’ll be starting one next week (hopefully) in Knitpicks Shine in orchid (pink!). Your pic makes me want one in red too…
So cute!!!
You look gorgeous! I have even dared to dye yarn whilst wearing white shorts– call me crazy! ;)
Bonne — That red is SCORCHING!! I’m knitting CeCe in one of the new greens in Cotton Fleece (I believe it’s called Willow Leaf), but now that I see yours, I wish I’d used Candy Apple Red (I’m too chicken to overdye). CeCe’s a wonderful pattern — keep ’em comin’!!!!
CeCe is gorgeous in red (as are you)! I’m almost up to the armpits – knitting in Sirdar Breeze in a pale green. But only because it was in my stash. I would have preferred a different colour, but stash busting is in progress at my house.
you look GORGEOUS :)
Damn girly you know taste and style down to the nines!
I love, love, love this CeCe in red! And you look FABULOUS in it! I bought the CeCe pattern so I could use my Classic Elite (in RED, of course) to knit it and I didn’t have enough so I went with a cami. But I’m planning on using Coton No. 4 (it’s the same gauge!) or the Calmer I’ve got in my stash…
