Try to finish the row you are working on before you
set your knitting aside.
Most dropped stitches are from picking up the needles
of a work in progress that has been left off in the
middle of a row.
Stitches are prone to slide right off the needle tips
and might unravel (drop).
Sometimes you won't notice this until later when you
have a small hole in the piece.
