There’s some seriously zany stuff in the late 60s & 70s! Fashion designers on psychotropic substances. I like the 20s & 40s, too. The less corseted 10s as well.

Dresses were so well-designed in the 20′s. And the fabrics were lovely, too. I don’t have personal knowledge of this, but from magazines, books, and especially the movies, it seems clothes were definitely an extension of the person.
