bright lights, Big City…
If yarn could be edible, the stuff you see above would be on my plate in an instant! The glorious KarenB, knowing that cheerfulness extends beyond a smile, reached out and lifted me up with some beaming fiber JOY! Just look at the color fun – this is destined to be a future capelet the wearing of would challenge even Superman!
The colorway is called *Good Morning* and is from the fabulous folks at funwithyarn.com. I’ll say – every single person that saw this on the #66 wanted to reach out and touch this lovely stuff – THANK YOU Karen!
Think I resemble that color combo – right on!
This is my new knitting bag/bus satchel. It’s cheerfulness is authored by a neighborhood designer named Lou who has a store called LoLa. Theresa and I found this exciting new house of purse on a shop crawl along Division Ave.
One of my personal mottos is: “if you’re going to make a move, make a Bold Move” and this fits that bill perfectly…
And last, but not least, one for the Cotton Tots, the lovely K&A! WHO could resist this color I spied lanquishing all lonely in a bin at a Michaels Craft store? Not I, who had just run in to “use the facilities” on my way elsewhere. b.Limey – talk about multi-tasking?!
I see some Bucketing in my crystal ball, y’all…
That yarn is awesome, and I’m totally jealous of the purse!!!! Beautiful pics as always!
Fabu bag!
delicious yarn. and I’m so in love with that purse. really. i need one in my life…like NOW.
So, Santa’s a gal and the name is KarenB? Ha! You let the secret out~ nice gifty there. I guess I have to settle for cyber yarn pets…
Yes, I like your bag choice – it is cheery! Happy knitting on the #66!
That purse is divine! I love it! And the yarn… gorgeous.

delicous yarn…and i’m in love with that bag. I need one like NOW. you know what, I’m visiting Chicago at the end of July. Maybe I’ll stop there.
Hey–I was at my neighborhood Lola shop in Lincoln Square, and treated myself to a leopard furry bag!
Pink and green… Right On! :-)
I want to make a linen bucket hat. I’ve been thinking that it would be cool and lightweight and get softer and softer with age…
Fabulous colors all around. I’m in the middle of a quickie Sugar n’ Cream cotton project myself…I’m doing the kimono baby sweater from Mason Dixon in hot orange with hot pink trim. No demure baby knitting for my friends!!!
I love the purse! :)
I just absolutely love everything about that bag. That is so awesome. I would definitely use it as my knit bag.
I was JUST THINKING about you and the Bucket Hat this morning — spooooky! Let’s both buy lottery tickets.
Aw, B.! You know we all need a little fiber joy every now and again.
must
have
that
bag
I’m not sure I can live without that kicky bag! I feel myself fading right now…
Bucket? Did someone say bucket? I believe I need to bucket this season. My noggin needs a hat for these sunny days and the ChicKnits bucket hat is the only hat that actually flatters my wee pea head.
P.S. I kid you not when I tell you that as soon as I saw that yarn I wanted to bite it. “Good morning” is right…I’m like, “Good morning, yummy looking yarn! May I eat you? Merci beaucoup.”
Your new bag, like, totally matches your new yarn.
LOVE the yarn! Makes me think of watermelon and summertime!! I just made up 2 of your buckethats with the sugar and cream for my vacation! I also have acouple skeins of the bright orange..my niece requested at hat! Love the new bag too!
Oooh, luscious! Goodies that don’t add girth! Gotta love it.
Ooh, that yarns makes me think gelato – perhaps fragole and pistacchio?
I am perpetually amazed at the kicka** colors Sugar n Cream comes in! I have only ever seen it in person in these bland, washed-out pastels. Not even pretty pastels, but sickly, you know?
Your new knitting bag has a really nifty design on it. As I am sure you know. ;)
That first yarn is to die for. Really cute. I agree it will make a great capelet. What kind of stitch pattern you going to use?
I love that bag…Hubby and daughter are heading off to Chi for a soccer tournament – the National AYSO games. Might have to send them over to Lola. And the green is so calling to me…Michael’s field trip is on the agenda for tomorrow.

Lovely! btw, how’s mom doing?
Indeed, how could you resist that SnC, when it goes so well with your bag?! :)
