and am I ever ready! FINALLY, we’re seeing some hot weather – I’m going to a beach party tomorrow and get to wear a printed blue skirt, tighty whitey T, flip-flops and my new Sommarfest earrings, Even though I ranted about the fair last week, I did find these blue beaded lovelies…

Blue is one of my favorite colors but it seems that you can’t always find cute blue clothes (beyond jeans, button downs & navy suits). And when I say blue, I mean blue – not turquoise or teal. I recently spied a blue & white striped dress and nabbed it just because I haven’t seen a blue dress. Years ago I had actually had a pair of blue suede shoes! I have some white & blue yarn languishing in my basket – it was supposed to become a spring purse – in need of a new project. Looking at your earings makes me think I should buy more blue yarn. Habu is calling me!

Aaaaah the beach. Where else can you find a more beautiful combination of blue and green? Blue with brown is my new favorite color combination, as you can see in my beachy blog pictures. Have a lovely time at the party!
