If you told me I’d become an Adventure Diva merely by jetting to Paris and knitting, you would be witness to much eye rolling and lash batting…

But that’s just what happened in my world when we mixed a fantastic historical landscape with fiber and FRIENDS! Just like my honorary Parisian Muse, Mary Cassatt, I was an American in Paris, with my craft, but without my KIP, adrift!

Man, I couldn’t find the phildar store when I was there last summer. Ah, well. Bonne Marie, do you know if there is an organized SnB in Paris? I have a friend going this summer and she was hoping to find a group to drop in on.

Bonnie Marie, I predict that Cutaway Cardigan is going to be your biggest hit yet!

J’adore Paris. Reading your blog the past few days not only brings back many fond memories, but is gently reminding me that it’s time to make another visit soon. I hope you have lots more stuff to show us.

It was great meeting you. You’re fun to be with!

And yes, didn’t you know churches, libraries AND haberdasheries (is that notions shop in the US?) are places of worship and silence? Now go and meditate in penance over your buttons.

  8. Bonne Marie says:

Urraca! I am on my knees (laughing) with out-stretched arms begging for forgiveness! I forgot to mention that this was also the shop that carried Rowan Yarn that YOU COULDN’T TOUCH!!! :)

I do believe I must be a self-service fanatic – pump my own gas (who doesn’t?), do my own laundry, love to check-out my own groceries given the chance on those new robot stations! When I am in a place where SERVICE is not only offered but requisitely FORMAL (and, I might add, lavishly attentive), it is a whole new frontier…

P.S. I’ve been checking out knitting machines, and can you guess who sparked that little activity?
