  Monday Morning Mirth

This is a True Story.

Watch for my upcoming award as Best Supporting Actress for my Zipped Thin Red Line Lip reaction to same unlike our Mayor who when asked at a press conference to respond to Blago’s Wild West Rant just chirped “Cuckoo!”

(And yes, we thinks Anderson Cooper is a HAWThottie!)

Edited to add: For the Love of Pete! Anybody see him on the View this morning!? He exasperated Barbara Walters to the point she looked like she had a mouth full of month old milk!

So he appears with the ladies there, then gives an exclusive interview to another female reporter from NBC: me thinks he thinks he’s god’s gift to you know…

G-Rod/D-Brain, cuckoo ;p

Ditto the AC thinking! As for Blago, well, isn’t he as innocent as all the other “Public Servants” before him who’d been found out? Where do we end?

  2. Laura K says:

Great clip–thanks for sharing! I can’t wait to catch The View in a few hours…..

As for AC, have you seen the clip from 60 Minutes whan he races Michael Phelps? It’s a hilarious clip and you get to see him in swim trunks. You’re welcome :)

  3. margene says:

That man is stunningly stupid and delusional. How on earth will IL ever be rid of him. At least he offers comic relief in the face of mid-winter if nothing else.

  4. Terri says:

Bwah!!! I love me some AC. I snorted coffee out my nose when he was eating popcorn and said, “no, wait, it gets better”. :-)

  5. Julie says:

I missed The View, but am still reeling from the Pearl Harbor, Ghandi, MLK, etc. comparisons. This guy has completely lost his mind!

  6. Joyce says:

When the scandal first broke, my partner predicted da gov would try to, “Brazen it out.” That struck me as likely, but I did not imagine brazenness of this magnitude! I wonder if all this drama is madness, or just desperate strategy.

A few days ago, a gentleman told me that he learned to crochet in federal prison. He was very proud of this accomplishment, and told me about numerous impressive projects he completed while incarcerated. So maybe Blago needs to stop thrashing about look at the bright side of his unfortunate situation. ;-)

  7. Amanda says:

OMG! Blago drives me nuts! I’d love to figure out what alternate reality he lives in, mostly so I can avoid it! I heard him compare himself to Nelson Mandela, MLK, and Ghandi….really?

  8. Angela says:

Blago, Blago, Blago. Wasn’t BW’s face hysterical when she would offer that pained smile to his endless spin? Oy. Oh, and oh, yeah on AC.

  9. Cayli says:

Thanks for the clip! It was a huge laugh for me this morning.

  10. SRichelson says:

Thanks for the clip – he defies description – I agree that he is so in love with himself that he is blinded to his idiocy. Throwing out crazy things like ‘Oprah for Senator’ are just deflection tactics as well as the references to Ghandi,et al. What a piece of work he is!

  11. Did you hear that Joy Behar ruffed up his hair without him knowing she was going to do that? I loved hearing that. And when the Today Show female reporter interviewed him, I wonder if she felt like she needed to take a nice hot shower? ewwh

  12. Bonne Marie says:

I saw the ruffle up! How could he be more silly looking? So undignified.

Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of seeing politicians on entertainment shows, Leno/Letteman, etc.

For some reason, once I see them on those venues, it really diminishes their credibility in my eyes and I’m a cynic to begin with. UhOh. Approaching zero sum balance…

  13. CindyCindy says:

Oh, Bonne. Rod having credibility? I think he lost that a bit ago. He is entertaining in an idiotic way, but for a governor to not know the laws of impeachment for his own state is pathetic. That, and the reference to the cowboys??WTF?

  14. Mary P says:

There is so much going on in that video. Isn’t the plural of steer steer? The Barretta hair connection is excellent. Since so many of us find AC to be so delish, shouldn’t we keep in mind that he isn’t returning the favor to the female types? I hate window shopping, but that is a higher level of “no you’ll never have this.”
