  Monday Morning Mirth

I was visiting Uffish, one of my favorite sites, and found a vintage post about something that makes all of us giggle…

Even men snuckle a little when the subject is brought up (but NOT in the way I heave when I hear about sports and a little blue pill) and with Web 2.0 they made it so we can

get all eCard about it!

Progress? Evolution or Revolution?

I say the war’s not over until we get a blog poll that asks: “What kind of period are you?”

…whatever you do, do not play with the Pad-O-Meter

An eCard? Oh, please! And who thinks that turning one set of words (bloated, snippy, cramping) into another set (curvy, in touch with your body) changes the facts of the situation?

I can see the male developers and marketers are totally out of touch. Period. Always.

Every single day the world seems just a little more insane. I suppose the more functional of the insane work in advertising!

    Hilarious, ladies…

Too bad “Murder, She Wrote” is off the air. How fun would it be to see Jessica exonerate her niece of the suffocation-by-femine-hygiene-product death of her ad exec neighbor.

  5. Karyn says:

OMG! I had to send eCards to a dozen of my friends, along with an extra link to the pad-o-meter. Reminds me of an article I read in the 80’s in Glamour about how if men got their periods, the government would subsidize maxipads and tampons, and discussions would focus on who had the biggest flow! UGH!

Oh I’m gobsmacked! Somewhere right now there is an advertising executive with a seriously pissed off ex-wife, and I’m guessing she wasn’t an ex-wife until this brilliant scheme came about. Have a happy period?
I remember when this add campaign started, seeing a letter some woman wrote and her mentioning that it should say more practical things like, “Put down the hammer.” Heee…
