To the Marination Chamber! They need some lovin’ too.
wow, that seems impossible that you only have a couple of projects on the needles. Good for you! Don’t forget about those UFOs now.
I do agree that knitting in the summer, while it’s still warm does build up a microclime. I kept wondering b/c this summer, it would be relatively cool, but sitting under a lamp, I would just burn up and no one else in the house understood why I was so hot. I like the microclime idea. Thanks!
I am projectless as well! One scarf to finish and a lonely sock that is a she-devil. There are car rides ahead so must find that perfect fall knit…could it be the ribbi? ;-)
I understand the need to put the wool down during summer. I only have two items in my marination chamber and both are there because summer happened. As soon as I finish the two shawls on the needle then its back to finish these two items. At the rate summer is hanging on here it will be January before these 80/90 degree days let go for cooler weather. It’s been a strange year here weather wise. :) So do we get to see what’s in the chamber and maybe vote. ;-)
I finished the 7th repeat of chart 1 last night – actually this morning, if you count 1am as morning – of M-Dash. I want to finish this soon! I know it’s probably expecting too much of myself to finish before N.MI. Lamb & Wool, but I can dream :o) Also, I want to get on a new thing – a short sleeved hoodie by certain famous designer.
Am I a liar liar pants on fire to have neglected UFO’s lying about [although marinating]!!!
I’ve found when the Muse leaves the bldg it is Impossible to continue until she feels like coming back for another round (or two or sometimes never and then it’s a rip fest).
It was downright skunky today: humid, rainy, hot and not user friendly at all :(
I was going for a done Miss Dashwood by Sunday but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA muthahNature sez NO.
Are you going to the Spin Out I see in your sidebar??
If it’s nice weather you want, N.MI. is pretty cool :o) Low 70s today & tomorrow. I may knit on the pier out on Thunder Bay!
miss dashwood is one of my favourites…
doing a lot of AC knitting here this week too.
Yeah, really, what the heck is going on with this weather. We had a few wisps of all, just enough to wet the appetite, and now it’s hotter than it was in July?! I miss my wool!
