Monday Morning Mirth
I’m planning a trip to NYC in the next couple of months and have been virtually visiting the place.
This is a total “Two Birds w/1 you know” thing – especially interesting to me are photo galleries (& articles) people thoughtfully publish about their local purview. Urban or Mundane? Not for me the iconic monuments and predictable destinations.
This site takes a little walk on the wilder
eyes-wide-open side.
Then I found GNOMES of NY
mix-it up with a little Chimera from “Lost New York”
beautiful Skysraper Art
Gargoyle go home…
Darnit, now I’m dying to go to London again too!
[cool NYC/London links appreciated below that write about what to do and see in the neighborhoods]

You should give a shout when you are here.
Have a great time! Take lots of photos!
Lucky you…for some reason whenever I visit NYC there is someone in our bunch who has never been and we have to go see all the traditional NYC stuff…..again!
Go to School Products! It is storied and it is worth it.
I’d be glad to give you a tour of NYC beer bars to knit at! Hope to see you when you’re here.
On my one and only trip to NYC, on a beautiful April day, our friends took us for a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a great tourist-y, but not too tourist-y thing to do. And just across the bridge in Brooklyn, you can walk the promenade – great views often in movies & TV.
